Because the classes have been so popular, Vicki will be here Thursday morning and Thursday nights in May. Book in now to avoid disappointment.

Finally, A man who was happy to be in a scrapbooking store!!

This gentleman was on holidays with his wife and daughter, from New Zealand. You can just imagine how many scrapbooking stores he's been dragged to. Ours was his favourite. He found my sons x-box and had to be dragged from the store when his wife and daughter had finished shopping.

Ribbon Club

Wednesday morning we held our first 'Ribbon Club' which after a shaky start went off with a bang. I have a photo of a layout Erica did following the layout of the Craft Queen design team member who created for the ribbon club this month. It turned out beautifully, don't you think?

We hold Ribbon Club one night and one morning a month with the next one being next Wednesday 23rd. If you would like to join in the class then just phone me to book in. Hope to see you there.

Thursday morning with Vicki

Thursday morning with Vicki is going great guns. Yesterday we did ribbon weaving and used the sewing machine. We had two new scrappers that were amazed with the many and varied techniques scrappers use to create their beautiful family treasures. If you would like to give scrapping a go, or you know someone who does, then let me recommend a Thursday morning with Vicki. Vicki is a long time teacher and often published scrapper herself, so she knows what she's talking about and she can answer any scrapbooking question you might have. I forgot to take any photos of last Thursday though the layouts looked gorgeous.

Teach Petrina just teach

Our workshops have all been great this month and getting busier every week. Here is a photo of some of the ladies that attended Wednesday nights class. Thanks Petrina, everyone had a great time and we all learnt some great ideas. Hope you can come back soon.

Congratulations has to go to Petrina who has just had a layout published on the cover, no less, of Scrapbook Creations and to Thea for being such a willing model.

If you would like to be taught some great scrapbooking techniques by an often published scrapbooker then watch this space and make sure you book in when we get Petrina back in to do another workshop.

APRIL CHALLENGE

The deadline has passed and voting has begun. Make sure you get in before 4pm, 30th April to check them out and cast your vote. We had 9 entries returned and they are all great. Thanks to all the ladies who participated. The winner will receive a $50 voucher for her efforts. Not bad.

If you would like to be a part of May's challenge, packs will be ready on 1st May and you will have a whole month to get your entries in.

Half price workshops

Remember in the month of April if you bring a friend to any workshop or scrap n chat you will both receive a 50% discount on that workshop. If coming in to do a workshop is something that you've been thinking of doing, now is the time. Bring a friend, have some fun and maybe learn a new technique. Last Thursday morning we had 'Fun with Transparencies' with Vicki Lammi. The pages turned out beautifully, I am extremely happy with mine (I must thank Vicki, who did most of it for me). Thanks Vicki.

Kids Class

Last Wednesday morning we had a school holidays kids class, which was great. Thanks Karen for coming in to show the kids how to make felt bags. Everyone had heaps of fun and took home a beautiful bag and brooch each. We will definately be having more kids classes next holidays so don't forget to check out the workshop timetables closer to the date.
