School Holiday Classes
The kids school holiday classes went really well. All the kids who joined us had a great time and took home there completed projects. We have also got a kids challenge going at the moment. Each child received a butterfly cut out that they are to decorate and bring back in to be judged. The winner will receive a great scrap pack from The Creative Artz Cottage. Butterflies are to be in by 4pm, 29th July.
I love this photo of one of our kids classes, our teacher, Cassie was having a great time too.

Thursday Night with Petrina
You will need to bring your usual scrapbooking supplies, eg: adhesives, trimmer, scissors etc. - and perhaps some photos that you might not usually put with flowers? eg. some boy photos? Or any project you are working on already that you think could do with some different flowers? Petrina will have a few sample LOs there to show you and you are welcome to try any of the ideas that she has done.

School Holiday Classes
As you can see from July Workshop List, that we have a number of exciting things happening over the school holidays.
Opals are a thick embossing enamel that come in a huge range of opalescent colours. The techniques you can achieve with Opals show their versatility whether you are Stamping, Scrapping, Cardmaking, making Jewellry or Mixed Media projects.
If you've played with Opals before or want to learn some new techniques these classes will be fun, informative and will give you the WOW factor.

We have limited spaces in all our workshops, and they are filling fast, so book in now to avoid disappointment
We have a Winner!!!!!
Congratulations to everyone that entered our June Challenge. We had heaps and heaps of votes and everybody got at least one, but this month there was only one winner.
Jocelyn Perkis was the winner this month, with her entry No 4 - Sisters Forever. Well done Jocelyn. Jocelyn actually tied for first in the May Challenge. No, it's not rigged, I promise. Last month Tracy Edgerton counted the votes with me and this month it was Cassie Thorne, so there is definately no favouritism. ?Not sure how to spell that, but there is none.?
Coming a very close second and only by one vote was No 7 - Peaceful by Cassandra Sewell. This was Cassandra's first entry in a challenge having only been scrapping for a very short time. She has been attending Vicki's classes and used some techniques learned on her page. It goes to show that attending Vicki's classes really does pay off, if you want to scrap gorgeous pages.
We have 5 pages up so far for the July Challenge. It is way down from entries last month. This pack has really proven to be a challenge. If you haven't got your entry in yet, please bring it in this week, our little wall is looking a bit bare.
